Living Room Concepts
In Progress
When Dave and Georgia purchased their second home, they chose to stay just a stone’s throw from their first - rooted in a Southwest London neighbourhood closely connected to their upbringing, friendships, and family life. The move marked a shift from first-home experimentation to a more intentional, long-term approach to living.
As their lives evolved, so too did their expectations of their home. The couple were seeking a living room that felt more mature and cohesive - without losing the warmth, playfulness, and personality that define them.
The living room itself offered a generous blank canvas. Larger than their previous space, with original period features and southwest-facing natural light, it presented an opportunity to create a calm retreat for evenings, a welcoming space for entertaining, and a layout that comfortably accommodates pets and everyday life.
Our role began with concept-led mood boards, introducing design styles, material palettes, and spatial ideas the couple hadn’t previously considered. These visual narratives helped reframe the space - balancing refinement with character, and grounding personal interests within a more elevated, grown-up aesthetic.
From there, 3D visualisations were developed ahead of physical renovations, allowing the couple to explore layout, scale, and zoning with confidence. This process provided clarity on how the space could function day-to-day, how elements of their individual personalities could be thoughtfully displayed, and how the room could flex between relaxation, hosting, and pet-friendly living.
The result is a living space that reflects Dave and Georgia’s evolution - expressive yet considered, personal yet polished - designed to support the next chapter of their lives with confidence and clarity.
